스데반의 순교 후

행 8:1-3 (Acts 8:1-3)

 

1 사울은 그가 죽임 당함을 마땅히 여기더라
그 날에 예루살렘에 있는 교회에 큰 박해가 있어

사도 외에는 다

유대와 사마리아 모든 땅으로 흩어지니라

2 경건한 사람들이

스데반을 장사하고 위하여 크게 울더라

3 사울이 교회를 잔멸할새

각 집에 들어가 남녀를 끌어다가 옥에 넘기니라

 

 

1-2 Saul approved the stoning of Stephen.

Some faithful followers of the Lord buried Stephen

and mourned very much for him.
Saul Makes Trouble for the Church
At that time the church in Jerusalem suffered terribly.

All of the Lord's followers, except the apostles,

were scattered everywhere in Judea and Samaria.

3 Saul started making a lot of trouble for the church.

He went from house to house,

arresting men and women and putting them in jail.
The Good News Is Preached in Samaria
